Terms of Sale

1. Introduction

These Terms of Sale govern all orders placed with City Dock Pharmacy, a UK-registered pharmacy regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). By placing an order through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Prescription Medicines

We only supply Prescription-Only Medicines (POMs) upon receipt of a valid prescription issued by a UK-registered prescriber following a suitable medical assessment.

  • All online consultations are reviewed and approved by licensed healthcare professionals.

  • Orders for prescription medicines are subject to pharmacist approval and clinical verification.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order if it does not meet regulatory or clinical requirements.

  • Prescription medicines cannot be returned or refunded once dispensed (see Refund Policy).


3. Prices and Payment

  • All prices displayed on our website are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering using the accepted payment methods displayed at checkout.

  • We reserve the right to change our prices or withdraw products at any time.

  • In the event of a pricing error, you will be notified and given the option to reconfirm your order or cancel it.


4. Delivery

  • Orders are dispatched only after a valid prescription has been approved and the medicine clinically checked by our pharmacist.

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to stock availability or courier delays.

  • Temperature-sensitive medicines are shipped using validated, temperature-controlled packaging.

5. Cancellations

  • Orders for prescription medicines cannot be cancelled once the prescription has been processed and dispensed.

  • For non-prescription items, you may cancel your order before dispatch by contacting us promptly at [email address].


6. Returns and Refunds

Prescription medicines cannot legally be returned once they have left the pharmacy premises.


7. Product Information and Liability

  • Product descriptions and images are provided for general information only.

  • Always read the patient information leaflet supplied with your medicine.

  • If you experience any unexpected side effects or adverse reactions, stop using the medicine and seek medical advice immediately.

  • While we take every care to ensure the accuracy of information on our website, we accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on it, except where required by law.


8. Privacy and Data Protection

We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Your personal and medical information will only be used for the purposes of dispensing and delivering your medicine.

9. Complaints

We aim to provide the highest standard of service. If you wish to raise a complaint, please follow our Complaints Policy.
Unresolved complaints may be escalated to the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) via www.pharmacyregulation.org.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
